Gabourey Sidibe (Precious) Mother & Whoopi Goldberg Respond To Howard Stern- [Video Inside]

As we previosuly reported on THISIS50, Shock Jock Howard Stern had some harsh words for up and coming “Precious” Star, Gabourey Sidibe.

The iconic radio personality led a verbal attack against Oscar nominee Gabourey Sidibe and her weight on his Sirius satellite show. He said things like:

“There’s the most enormous, stout black chick I’ve ever seen. She is enormous. Everyone’s pretending she’s a part of show business, and she’s never going to be in another movie,” he said. “She should have gotten the Best Actress award because she’s never going to have another shot. What movie is she gonna be in?”

Howard and co-host Robin Quivers continued to discuss the impossibility of Gabby finding any work in Hollywood after her debut role in Precious.

WELL NOW, Gabourey Sidibe’s mom and Whoopi Goldberg have responded to Howard Stern’s claims and here’s what they had to say:

WTF: Money Hungry NYC Traffic Cops Tow A Funeral Director’s Car With A Corpse Still Inside

NYDaily News reports:

On the road to eternal peace, a body left inside a funeral home minivan wound up at hell on earth: the city tow pound.

The unscheduled stop came after a police tow truck hooked the illegally parked vehicle outside Redden’s Funeral Home on W. 14th St.

The dearly departed was soon heading for a lot off the West Side Highway, with the truck driver handling the last rights – and a few lefts – on the ride through Chelsea.

Funeral director Paul DeNigris said he nearly died after walking outside the business Monday afternoon to find his client no longer resting in peace.

“I was just a wreck,” DeNigris told the Daily News. “I was frantic. When something like that happens, you go into panic mode.”

The corpse was finally rescued after 90 undignified minutes in Manhattan’s most miserable locale, trapped amid scofflaws and irate out-of-towners.

DeNigris had parked his silver 2002 Dodge in a “No Parking Anytime” zone outside the funeral home. The body, in a white cardboard box, was headed for Newark Airport and a flight to Miami for cremation.

DeNigris said he stepped inside to pick up some paperwork, took a phone call, and returned to find … nothing.

“The car was just gone,” he said yesterday

Drake "Thank Me Later" Listening Session; Records New Track with Eminem And Dr. Dre This Saturday

Via Ace Burpee

In Toronto this afternoon (March 12th) a few guys got an invite from Universal Music to meet Drake and listen to some new tracks from his soon–to–be–released album. “It sounds like a monster to me,” says Ace Burpee. “It was really excellent stuff. And Drake is a nice kid. Here’s what I can tell you…”

1) There’s a song on the disc called “Fireworks” that has the greatest beat ever. Drake has this sidekick producer called 40, and he’s talented. I met him as well this afternoon and he’s also a excellent kid. He’s about to be very, very busy. “Fireworks” has a hook on it courtesy of Kings of Leon. It’s catchy.

2) There is a Kanye West–produced track on the album that comes with a tale. The track was made by Kanye for Beyonce, but Drake really wanted it so he wrote her a handwritten letter asking if he could use it. She read it and thought it was sweet and e–mailed him to give her permission. It’s a fantastic track.

3) There’s a Jay–Z/Drake track that he played for us – minus Jay’s verse. Jay–Z doesn’t let anyone hear his stuff before it comes out. Drake claims it is the greatest verse Jay’s ever done.

4) I reckon the final track on the album is called “Thank Me Now” or something. He played us a recorded verse then did another one live and it was one of the best. Really cool.

5) He sings on a bunch of tracks on the album.

6) This Saturday Drake will be in L.A. doing a track with Dr. Dre and Eminem.

7) Yes, there is a Timbaland beat on the album.

It is highly possible that the largest album of 2010 will be from a Canadian, and his name will be Drake.

Sidebar: No, Drake isn’t done recording Thank Me Later.
